Designer and TV Star Doug Wilson Takes on New Role With The
RoomPlace at Harlem Furniture
LOMBARD, Ill., Oct. 12, 2007
/PRNewswire/ -- Celebrity interior designer Doug Wilson is no
stranger to the spotlight. As one of the most popular
designers on TLC's "Trading Spaces" television show, he has
gone on to host TLC's "Moving Up" and "America's Ugliest"
programs. Now, Wilson will headline The RoomPlace at Harlem
Furniture's $25,000 Decorating Dollars Sweepstakes.
Wilson will lend more than
his name to this exciting sweepstakes. On November 10, 2007,
he also will make an in-store appearance from 1 - 2 p.m. at
The RoomPlace store located at 2575 N. Elston Ave. in Chicago.
As well as greeting his fans, Wilson will give three Grand
Prize winners a personal decorating consultation. He will help
the winners create the perfect look for their home with
merchandise from The RoomPlace. Three Grand Prize winners will
receive a $5,000 shopping spree and 10 additional winners a
$1,000 shopping spree.
There is no purchase
necessary to enter. Through November 5, 2007, the public can
register to win either online at www.theroomplace.com, or in
person at any one of The RoomPlace's 19 stores throughout
Chicagoland and Indiana.
Wilson recently was named one
of the "Top 100 Designers in America" by House Beautiful
magazine. His playful and innovative designs have been
described as "unconventionally stylish and urbane ... pushing
the edge of creativity," while always remaining sophisticated.
Not surprisingly, his approach perfectly complements The
RoomPlace's wide selection of tasteful styles.
Like Wilson, The RoomPlace is
an innovator in the home décor industry. The company's
showrooms feature complete room groups that give customers
everything they need to furnish an entire room. From colors to
fabrics and accessories, the RoomPlace's professional

pieces and carefully put each room together. The latest styles
of complete living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and youth
bedrooms as well as bedding and accessories are available. In
addition, The RoomPlace has a unique business philosophy of
"The more you buy, the more you save," where each complete
room comes with substantial package discounts - saving its
customers time and money.
