Palladeo Breaks Ground On New Construction Project With Bristol Farms

GLENDALE, Calif., April 22, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Bristol Farms has selected Palladeo Construct as the general contractor for the ground-up construction of its latest specialty food store in Valencia, Calif. The 35,000 square-foot store is going up at 23975 Newhall Ranch Road.

Construction on the store recently began, and the store will open in October. This is Palladeo's fifth project with Bristol Farms and the first ground-up construction. Previous projects with Bristol Farms include a major remodel of the company's South Pasadena store, a second-use remodel in La Jolla, an open-store remodel in Manhattan Beach and a second-use remodel in Palm Desert.

"Palladeo has a remarkable ability to keep a project on schedule while still paying attention to the finer details that make each Bristol Farms' store so unique," said Craig Ogaz, director of operations development for Bristol Farms. "I know I can count on Palladeo to be flexible, while still providing a great deal of coordination and communication."

Plans for Bristol Farms in Valencia include individual "shops" with full facades and themed props, including a fresh juice and smoothie counter, a fresh sushi department with sushi made onsite every day, a coffee bar and an eat-in cafe. The wine area, with its four walls, wine racks and roof trellis, resembles a specialty wine boutique.

Palladeo Create, the company's fixture and decor fabrication and installation division, is fabricating and installing the interior decor. DLEnglish Design Studio, based in Long Beach, Calif., designed the store's interior.
