LEGACY OF DESIGN 2008 COMPETITION CATEGORIES
SHINING STARS (23 categories) & RISING STARS (15 categories)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In an effort to encourage more entries, ASID Texas has an
array of categories, taking care to accommodate a wide range
of projects from across the state. To alleviate feelings of
intimidation, the Chapter has the RISING STARS division. These
15 categories are open only to designers who have practiced
design for 10 years or less. Designers meeting the RISING
STARS eligibility have the choice of entering either section,
as the 23 SHINING STARS categories are open to all designers
regardless of length of practice. NOTE: Those entering the
RISING STARS categories have different photography
requirements in regards to photograph quality. See the
Photography section in the Requirements document for details.
