the luxury market, as well as the latest trends, forecasts and
strategies in luxury consumerism, in the areas of retail,
investment, hospitality, travel and more, are the subjects of
the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce's Luxury Summit 2008.
Topics will include the macro and micro view of the luxury
investment market; corporate and consumer spending trends and
forecasts; the value of brand equity and strategies to
maintain company profitability in an uncertain market; how to
assess and serve the growing global appetite for luxury
products and services; new definitions and categories of
luxury from "accessible" and "aspirational" luxury to "ultra
luxury"; and how to successfully market to the increasingly
sophisticated luxury consumer.
