Call For Entries: PROJECT
INNOVATIONS 2008

/Buildings Magazine/ -- Buildings magazine is launching
its 3rd annual Project Innovations program, which is an
opportunity for you to showcase your project(s) to the
72,000-plus facilities decision-makers who read Buildings each
month. The premise is straightforward: Project Innovations
2008 submissions will be reviewed by a jury of buildings
professionals – building owners, facilities executives,
architects, interior designers, and the editorial staff of
Buildings magazine – and will be automatically entered in one
or more project awards programs:
Buildings New Construction Awards

Buildings Modernization Awards
.
Buildings Interiors Design Awards
.
Buildings Greener Facilities Awards NEW
Both awards recipients and selected Project Innovations will
be published in the October 2008 issue of Buildings magazine
and online at Buildings.com. Three levels of recognition in
each awards category will be selected by the jury:
Grand Prize Winners

Citations of Excellence
.
Project Innovations
Entries will be accepted for office, retail, educational,
healthcare, government, multifamily housing, hospitality,
public, and specialty projects and spaces that have been
completed between January 1, 2005, and April 1, 2008.
Entries may be submitted by any member of the project team
(owner, architect, contractor, interior designer, vendor,
etc.) or as a collaborative effort. You choose how many pages
you want dedicated to your project if you are selected for
publication. If – and only if – your project is selected by
our jury for one of the three levels of recognition, you will
be billed a Publication Fee (as outlined in the rules on the
entry information).

This year, you must download the PDF to fax or mail. If you
prefer to receive a copy of the Call for Entries by fax or
e-mail, please call Monica Kohl, Sales/Marketing/Editorial
Coordinator, at (319) 861-5161. You may register your entry
online or download a PDF to fax or mail. Call for Entries must
be received in the Editorial Offices at Buildings by February
15, 2008. Once your entry form is received, an
information/materials file will be e-mailed to you, in which
we will ask you to give us specific detailed information about
your project. That Information/Materials packet must be
completed, sent back, and received at the Editorial Offices at
Buildings magazine no later than April 4, 2008.
Submitting companies whose projects achieve a Grand Prize,
Citation of Excellence, or Project Innovations recognition
will be notified by mid-May 2008. Grand Prize and Citation of
Excellence recipients will be announced at The Buildings
Awards reception in late June during The Office Building Show/BOMA
International conference.
