The talk of the town is unique talent and passionate
inspiration. International Design Guild, an alliance of
luxury floor covering showrooms will let the design
community speak for itself as they celebrate the beauty
of interior design. The Guild and it’s members strive to
consistently recognize the talents and accomplishments
of interior designers throughout the United States and
Canada and are pleased to sponsor the 4th Annual
Designer Showcase Awards. “This annual event provides us
with the opportunity to recognize and reward designers
by giving them the forum to showcase their most
exceptional interior design. 2008 will be a year for us
to Celebrate Interior Design and especially the design
community whose ongoing dedication to creating interiors
that exude quality, beauty and exquisite taste is
uncompromising,” said Krista Eliason, President of
International Design Guild.
Contest applicants have the opportunity to win up to
$5,000 in cash awards. 5 winners in all will be chosen
from hundreds of entries, as a panel of seasoned Guild
Showroom Owners and industry experts judge entries based
upon individuality, use of color, and overall design
with a key focus on the use of floor coverings in the
design. The following are the awards that will be
bestowed:
The Grand Prize winner and our 2008 Designer of the Year
will be awarded $5,000 in cash for the best use of the
Guild’s exquisite Louis A Dabbieri Collection of fine
floor coverings
The 1st Runner-Up will be awarded a $2,500 cash prize
The 3 Honorable Mention awards will each receive a
$1,000 cash prize
All winners will receive extensive press and recognition
opportunities and entry into the Guild’s coveted Premier
Professional Designer Program, in addition to their cash
awards. The entry form, along with a high-resolution
photo and description of the designer’s stunning
creation, must be postmarked on or by May 31, 2008.
Entries can be turned into a local International Design
Guild showroom or the Guild’s home offices in
