Cubellis, a national architecture, interior design and
engineering services firm, has hired five new senior
professionals for the firm's new Orange County,
California office. Each of the new staff members joins
Cubellis from Jacobs Carter Burgess.

The Orange County
office team is led by Regional Operations Principal
Robert Budetti. Robert brings to his new position nearly
20 years of experience in the architectural, design, and
construction industry. During his career, Rob has worked
on a wide range of noteworthy retail, restaurant, mixed
use, and lifestyle centers in California, the western
states and elsewhere nationally. These include
University Town Center (La Jolla, CA); Riverpark
(Oxnard, CA); West Hollywood Gateway (West Hollywood,
CA); and The River (Rancho Mirage, CA).
Rob is joined on the Orange County team by Design
Principal Ken Smith; Principal Tom Bergerson; Principal
Samuel Saludo; and Principal - Retail & Mixed Use Bruce
Greenfield.
Ken Smith, Design Principal, has more than 27 years of
architectural and design management experience, with a
diversified background with national and international
retail designs and clients. As a principal designer, he
has a portfolio of award-winning projects that range
from urban master planning, retail, hospitality, and
mixed-use developments. Ken also has extensive
experience with themed retail, master planning for
federal buildings and mixed-use developments. Ken's
project work includes Citrus Plaza and Mountain Grove
(Redlands, CA); Laguna Hills Civic Center expansion
(Laguna Hills, CA); and The Orchard (Lake Forest, CA).
Tom Bergerson, Principal, has 20 years of architectural
consulting and project management experience, with an
extensive background in project site development
coordination, real estate transactions, due diligence,
entitlements, tenant relationship management,
governmental planning commission review processes and
permitting, and construction management. Tom has worked
extensively with national clients such as Tesco, Costco,
and Kohl's. His project work experience includes Home
Depot stores in Anaheim and Placerville, CA; Winchester
Meadows (Temecula, CA); Gateway Town Center (Norco, CA);
and Old Ranch Town Center in Seal Beach, CA.
Samuel Saludo, Principal, has 30 years of design
experience working on projects in the U.S., the Middle
East and Asia in the retail, mixed use, hospitality, and
residential markets. His expertise includes master
planning retail, lifestyle and mixed-use projects.
Sammy's experience includes work on such projects as
Jakarta Golf Village (Indonesia); Harbor Center (Costa
Mesa, CA), Raffles City (Singapore); Bandar Wawasan -
Vision City (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) Greenbelt Square
(Manila, Philippines); Sierra Crossing (Bakersfield,
CA); and Hilton Grand Vacations Club (Las Vegas, NV).
Bruce Greenfield, Principal - Retail & Mixed Use, has 24
years of architectural experience in hospitality,
residential housing, retail, and office projects. An
NCARB-certified Architect licensed in multiple states,
Bruce has a strong record of architectural practice
establishment and business development, studio
management, business planning, and strategic
implementation. His project work includes the St. Regis
Residences and Spa Tower (Houston, TX); W Hotel and
Fractional Unit Tower (Huntington Beach, CA); Hyatt
Place Hotel and Condominium Tower (Virginia Beach, VA);
and Paris Las Vegas Hotel Tower (Las Vegas, NV).
