NISSEQUOGUE, N.Y., May 7,

being held at the former Lane Estate in Nissequogue, NY
with public tours from May 31 - June 29, 2008 is proud
to announce its Opening Night Gala date and select
ticket information. On May 30, 2008 at 6:30 pm the
estate grounds will be open for the first showing of the
mansion and a reception to follow. The evening will
include the area's top restaurants offering samplings of
their signature dishes and champagne. The night will
also feature the musical offerings of New York's
Brookside Chamber Players String Trio.
"The Opening Night Gala will be a spectacular chance for
people to preview the home for the first time and meet
each of the designers, while enjoying great live music
and a wonderful arrangement of edibles," said Deborah
Dufton. "It will be a night to remember for all."

The show house boasts interior design talent from NYC to
the Hamptons and was originally decorated by the most
famous interior designer of all time, Elsie de Wolfe,
considered the "Mother of Interior Design." Much of her
work remains today, including her beautiful trelliage
work, a rooster mosaic, working marble fountain,
Chinoserie paper mural, carved marble fireplaces, and
even some gilded cornices.
House tours are Tuesday through Friday 10:30-4, Saturday
10-5 and Sunday 11-5. Closed on Mondays. For advance
