Akridge Scores Hat Trick at Gallery Place
Offices
Three New Leases Bring Gallery
Place Offices to 96% Occupancy
WASHINGTON, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ --
Akridge on behalf of the Gallery Place ownership announces today the
signing of three leases at The Offices at Gallery Place, 616 H
Street, NW. These three transactions bring the 220,000 square foot
Class A office building to 96% occupancy, leaving only two suites
available on the second and fourth floors.
District-based Children's Law
Center leased 16,300 square feet on the third and fourth floors for
a term of ten years. CLC will be moving its headquarters from 901
15th St., NW to The Offices at Gallery Place in spring 2007. Gregory
Y. Lubar and Eric L. Antonini of The Staubach Company represented
CLC in the transaction.
Financial technology firm, NCR
Corporation, will occupy 5,900 square feet on the fifth floor for a
seven-year term starting February 2007. The Gallery Place move-in
will be a consolidation of offices in the District of Columbia for
NCR. Brian J. Smith and A. Jefferson Groh of Jones Lang LaSalle
represented NCR.
JSA Inc., a nationally known
architecture, planning and interior design firm, will take 5,000
square feet for a seven-year term also on the fifth floor. JSA Inc.
plans to relocate their national headquarters to The Offices at
Gallery Place from their current location in Silver Spring, Maryland
in spring of 2007. Michael H. Fox and S. Bruce Pascal of CB Richard
Ellis represented NCR in the transaction. Andrew J. Eichberg of
Akridge represented the landlord in each of the three lease
transactions.
