The New Art
Institute of Charleston to Begin Offering Classes in April 2007
CHARLESTON, S.C., Jan. 2
/PRNewswire/ -- The Art Institutes announces today the addition of
The Art Institute of Charleston to its system of schools in April
2007.
With its first day of class slated
for April 2, 2007, The Art Institute of Charleston will occupy
approximately 48,000 square feet at The Carroll Building, 24 North
Market Street, in historic downtown Charleston, S.C. The Art
Institute of Charleston will begin enrolling students immediately.
"The Art Institute of Charleston
will offer curricula that complement the demand for arts education
in the southeast region," says John Mazzoni, president of The Art
Institutes. "We are confident that the school will enable students
to achieve their professional aspirations while making a meaningful
contribution to their communities."
Initially, The Art Institute of
Charleston will offer bachelor's degree programs in Culinary Arts
Management, Graphic Design, Interactive Media Design, Interior
Design, and Photographic Imaging; and associate's degree programs in
Culinary Arts, Culinary Arts with a concentration in Baking &
Pastry, Graphic Design and Interactive Media Design.

culturally vibrant city of Charleston by offering programs to
prepare students for careers in the creative arts," says Richard
