Promotes Michael R. Melugin, AIA, and David L. Sullivan, AIA,
to Associates

interior design firm, proudly announces the promotions of
Michael R. Melugin, AIA, and David L. Sullivan, AIA, to
Associates. In their new positions, Mr. Melugin and Mr.
Sullivan are integral to the leadership of the studios
directed by Robert Meaders, AIA, ASID, Principal, and James
Culpepper, AIA, Principal.

Michael R. Melugin, AIA
Mr. Melugin joined CMMI in
2004, bringing 20 years of architecture design experience. He
holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from the
University of Houston and earned his AIA designation in 1990.
Currently, Mr. Melugin's
projects at CMMI include: the renovation of the South Tower
and the Penthouse at the Omni CNN Center in Atlanta, GA, the
National City Center Atrium renovation in Indianapolis, IN and
the Urban Center renovation in Tampa, FL.
Mr. Melugin's expertise in
hotel and conference center architecture has earned him a
reputation for creating unique solutions to design challenges.
Other examples of his recent work with CMMI include the
Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center renovation and
expansion in Colonial Williamsburg, VA, as well as the
Riverwinds Resort and Conference Center in West Deptford, NJ.
Mr. Melugin is active professionally and serves as Vice
President of Advocacy for AIA Georgia.
David L. Sullivan, AIA
David Sullivan joined CMMI in
2005. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Georgia
Institute of Technology, and is a retired Captain in the Civil
Engineer Corps of the Naval Reserve where he was assigned to
numerous commands with the Navy Seabees in support of the
United States Marine Corps.
He brings more than 20 years
of architectural design experience in multi- family housing,
commercial, and institutional projects. His residential work
has been featured in Southern Living and Better Homes and
Gardens. Included in his portfolio of work at CMMI is Primland
Resort in Meadows of Dan, VA, Brasstown Valley Spa in Young
Harris, GA, and the Cypress Grille at Lake Blackshear Resort &
Golf Club in Cordele, GA.
Mr. Sullivan remains a member
of the Naval Reserve Association, and is an active member of
the Georgia Soccer Coaches Association. He is also a member of
the Austin Healy Club of America.
