  About the presenters

Tushaus joined EUA in 1995 after receiving a masters of architecture degree from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. With his architectural background and technological knowledge, Tushaus transitioned into EUA's information technologies manager in 1998. In 2001 he was appointed director of information technology and became a vice president. As an integral part of the firm's strategic development and business operations team, Tushaus oversees all the technological aspects of EUA. Responsibilities include IT infrastructure and related functionality, as well as usage and strategy for design and building information modeling tools and applications. Batcheler's AEC industry experience includes 11 years with engineering firms such as Black & Veatch and Bechtel Power Corporation, and 19 years of technology experience encompassing product management responsibilities at Autodesk, Inc., and key management roles at Softdesk, Inc. Batcheler earned bachelor of science and master of science degrees in civil engineering from Lehigh University, where he also gained registration as a professional engineer.
