PRESS RELEASE

CEU Credit Now Available for SF Mart Green Conference

All 10 Live Green, Live Well Seminars Approved

Early-Bird Rates Good thru August 31

SAN FRANCISCO, California, August 31, 2007 /San Francisco Mart/ -- The San Francisco Mart and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) are pleased to announce that all ten seminars for Live Green, Live Well, including the keynote luncheon with Interface Founder & Chairman Ray Anderson, have been approved by the Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC) for credit. Designers can earn up to nine hours of credit for just one $12 NCIDQ service fee during the two-day sustainable home furnishings and design show September 19 & 20.

With the green movement reaching a tipping point, designers and retailers must understand sustainable terms, certifications and processes so that they can educate their clients and customers. At the show, attendees will learn from experts in the field and benefit from the singular concentration on eco-friendly design. The CEU credit is automatically approved for ASID, IDC, IDEC and IIDA members. Many state regulatory boards also accept IDCEC-approved courses to satisfy CEU requirements.

“The conference will help designers bring “green within reach” to clients who think a green lifestyle is too restricting, too demanding or too expensive,” says Roseann Carini, the SF Mart’s General Manager. “At Live Green, Live Well, designers will access hundreds of products that will foster their progression into a more eco-conscious way of conducting business and living life. The knowledge gained from our 10 outstanding CEU seminars will enable them to make homes healthier for their clients, themselves and their family.”

The seminars are being co-sponsored by ASID. “We believe that all responsible professionals must make a commitment to finding ways to diminish interior design's impact on the environment,” says Suzan Globus, FASID, President of ASID. “It is also a smart way of doing business.”

Live Green, Live Well will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19 and from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 20. Entrance to the expo is complimentary to all trade professionals. Fees will be charged for all seminars; early-bird conference rates are good through August 31. Advance reservations and prepayment are required. Visit www.sfmart.com/livegreen for seminar pricing. To RSVP, e-mail or call . To obtain the CEU credit, attendees should bring a $12 check payable to NCIDQ.
